雨后的五脚基

This project begins with a simple image: rain has just passed over Penang, and the covered five-foot way still holds the sound, reflections and memories of the street.

Why the five-foot way matters

The visual idea is not a generic rainy city. The setting is deliberately Malaysian and Penang-rooted. Old shop-house corridors, wet pavement, familiar street proportions and warm interior light carry more meaning than a dramatic skyline. The goal is to let the environment do part of the storytelling.

From still images to a full music video

The production was planned as a sequence of short scenes rather than one continuous generated clip. Each scene could then be extended, reordered and matched to the song. This makes it easier to keep visual continuity while still reaching the duration of a complete track.

What I try to preserve

I prefer understated movement: rain residue, reflections, slow camera breathing and small environmental changes. Too much motion makes a nostalgic song feel like a trailer. The useful lesson from this project was that the visual rhythm should support the vocal and lyric pacing rather than compete with it.
